Pasting without formatting has tended to remove accents and characters that are crucial to getting the point across, and so many non-English phrases Stop changing the spell-check language just because it picks up on a word or phrase that isn't English. However, I haven't seen mention of an option to tell Word to simply I've seen a number of references that explain how, after Word - specifically 2010 - automatically changes the language it's spell-checking, it can be corrected back to checking the rest in English.
